A favourite of mine is fresh asparagus. This could not be easier. Just take your asparagus and snap off the woody end part (it should naturally break about 1/3 way up the stem). Then place on a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil, add some salt and pepper and bake in a hot oven (around 200 degrees C) for about 10 minutes. That’s it – you can steam these also or boil them but I think the oven-baked version is the best one of all.
