Hello! Thanks for having a look around. Maryke here – looking forward to sharing with you, my love of cooking incredible plant-based whole food! All recipes on the site are egg free, dairy free and plant based (unless otherwise stated). Many of them are also gluten free. Any of the recipes with flour can be made gluten free by substituting with gluten free products. I have a cookbook available for purchase – just click on the cart! My focus is on making vegan food delicious and accessible to the every day person for increased energy and improved health. Experiment and try the things you think you would like to eat. There are so many resources out there to help you and hopefully this becomes a valuable resource too. Why Vegan? This is a bigger question that is answered on the Q&A page that. In a nutshell, for increased energy, health, the planet, the environment, the animals and as a personal choice to make an impact in the biggest way I can on all of those issues. Since starting this site in December 2015, my recipes have been featured on Finding Vegan, Foodgawker, The Flaming Vegan and One Green Planet.
What’s important? My family, my dog – Jet, cooking and yoga (I am currently completing my Yoga Teacher Training – 200 hour course).

Dreaming about? Opening a yoga studio and vegan cafe with produce straight from the garden once both my kids have finished high school! 2.5 years and one kid to go!
